The peak is accessed just north of the Burgdorf Hot Springs. Take Warren Wagon Road/FH-21 [(B)(2) on Page 135] from McCall, Idaho. Turn off Warren Wagon Road onto [signed] French Creek Road. Burgdorf Hot Springs is 2.0 miles ahead on the right. FS-247 and a small campground are located just past the resort.
West Slopes, Class 2
This peak can be climbed from almost any direction. I climbed the broad Southwest Ridge. The ridge is covered by a lodgepole pine forest and is easy to navigate. My route reached the summit in 1.4 miles with 1,121 feet of elevation gain.
