Access
From ID-31 at Pine Creek Pass, drive south up signed FSR-253 for 2.4 miles to the trailhead for FST-047, an ATV trail [(B)(2)(a) on Page 342]. Park at this trailhead (7,110 feet).
West Ridge, Class 2
The Climb
This climb is mostly Class 1. From the trailhead, hike southeast then east up weaving, undulating FST-047 to its crest on the right/south side of Peak 7370. Leave the trail and scramble left/north then northwest up a scrub slope to reach the high point at the northwest corner of the summit plateau. There is a small cairn on the high point with a large ground boulder nearby. The summit is only 75 yards and 20 vertical feet from FST-047.
