Deep in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, Big Baldy Ridge is located due west of Buck Lake. The peak is easily climbed from the trail to Big Baldy Peak. This trail passes over the peak’s North Ridge at 8,800 feet. Keep in mind that the true summit is located at the North End of the summit ridge and is not the spot marked on the map as 9125. Class 2.
