Elevation: 9,505 ft
Prominence: 565
This peak is not in the book.
Peak 9505 is located west of Peak 9446 which, in turn, sits west of Woodtick Summit. The most efficient way to climb this peak appears to follow the ridge from Woodtick Summit over Peak 9446. Climb the peak from the adjoining saddle. I have only viewed the route from a distance and note that the route may run into difficult terrain. The peak can be climbed from the Cache Lakes Basin up its Southeast Slopes with little difficulty.
The USGS quad shows a trail climbing and ending near the summit from the northwest. I have no idea if this trail still exists. Woodtick Summit is reached by trail from the end of the Sleeping Deer Mountain Road (see the Sleeping Deer Mountain page for access information). USGS Sleeping Deer Mountain
