This peak is not in the book. Updated December 2024.

Pyramid Benchmark is located on the main Seven Devils Crest SSW of Black Lake. This peak is one of twelve Idaho peaks with the word “pyramid” in its name. Three of the Pyramids are found in the Seven Devils Mountain Range.  Go figure. This one sits just south of unranked Pyramid Peak. The third one is found farther north. Purgatory Peak is to the east. It has an impressive north face which rises above an unnamed lake. I have not climbed the peak but based on my reconnaissance the best access is to attempt the peak by its long SE ridge. Access

Access the SE ridge from the Deep Creek Trailhead which is accessed from FST-112. See the Southern Seven Devils Access Page for road directions (FSR-112) to the trailhead.
