Sheep Mountain is the highest point of the Sheep Mountain Subrange of the Clearwater Mountains. Its slopes are spotted with clear-cuts and surrounded by logging roads. USGS Sheep Mountain
Access and Route, Class 2
Primary access begins in Headquarters, Idaho. Google Maps will give you directions to Sheep Mountain from Headquarters. Logging roads reach nearly to the forested summit.
