Storm Dome is located directly southeast of Storm Peak. Its northeast face is one of Idaho’s most impressive granite walls. Although the peak 800-850 foot vertical face was described in the book rock climbers seemed oblivious to the wall’s potential until 2021 when Michal Matyjasik and Duncan Ralph made the first ascent via a route they named Tous Mes Amis IV 5.12- C2+ A1 PG13. Tous Mes Amis IV 5.12- C2+ A1 PG13
On Sept 7th, 2021 Duncan Ralph and I completed the first ascent of the NE face of Storm Dome, ground up, via Tous Mes Amis IV 5.12- C2+ A1 PG13.

After many days of cleaning and equipping some higher quality free variations, Zach Cook, Duncan Ralph, and I made the first free ascent of the NE face of Storm Dome via Milwaukee’s Best IV 5.12 PG13, a free and higher quality variation of Tous Mes Amis. The free route is 9 pitches long, 4 of which are 12 and 1 is 11+.
